The salary of the teachers of Ukraine will increase by three times.
2018 teachers of Ukraine will receive nearly 10 thousand hryvnia.
The adopted draft law “On education” establishes minimum wages of teachers in the amount of three minimum salaries, that is 9600.
The implementation of educational reform will occur in stages: first, change the primary, then high school and lastly high – class 10-12. All of this will last until 2029-2030.
“Three minimum wage – this should be the basic salary of the teacher. This salary gives the teacher the opportunity to regenerate itself and personal growth,” said Liliya Hrynevych, the Minister of education and science.
2018 Ukraine will start the reform of school education. Instead of the 10-12 grade students will learn in schools and colleges.
The first graders who will start school in 2018, will study 12 years.
“We want to go to school knowledge and school competences. This does not mean that school competence is the loss of knowledge. New information accumulated with dramatic speed. Children do not go to school for knowledge – for this is the Internet and a lot of resources. Children should be taught this knowledge to use, how to classify them, how to distinguish good from evil,” – said Grinevich.
