Teachers will no longer be engaged in census of the children.
At the government meeting on Wednesday, September 13, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a new procedure for accounting of children and students, abolishing conferred upon teachers the duty to conduct a census of school-age children.
“The teachers raise the question: “when we cease to engage in the census of the children” and put this question fairly. The government resolution that we are adopting today, just solves the problem of census children. More, after I will sign it, the teachers don’t have to do a census of the children”, – said the Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman during the meeting.
The initiative was submitted to the Cabinet by the Minister of science and education Lilia Grinevich.
“I remember my mom went and did a census of children who should attend school, and I remember how ungrateful load. So I look forward to this initiative… we are on the next meetings, the government will make the decision that you are not doing so” – said the Prime Minister during the August conference of Ukrainian teachers in Kyiv.
