The Russian government from the beginning anticipated that the participant of the Eurovision song contest 2017 from Russia Julia Samoylova is not allowed in Ukraine.
This opinion was expressed by the musician, the leader of the band “Vopli Vidopliassova” Oleg Violin.
“From the Russian side it was a stroke of genius – punching pity. Indeed, they chose a pretty girl with disabilities. Imagine what hysterics fought the media and the Russian audience: how could such a girl and to prohibit entry”, – he said.
“I called and with the Russian radio and television, so I commented on this point. But I really could not relate and did not comment. This is all a big provocation”, – said the musician.
