Law enforcement officers detained the Deputy head of the Department of social services and social security Department of social protection of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration. The official was grabbed right at the time of receiving a bribe, which he demanded for the issuance of permits for the disabled.
About it on the Facebook page said the head of the Main Directorate of the National police of Ukraine in the Zaporozhye area Oleg Zolotonosha.
According to militiamen, the size of the bribe was $2 000.
“The official received money for a positive decision regarding the issuance of documents permitting the importation of cars from abroad for a person with a disability (for the disabled),” – said a police spokesman.
The official was detained by operational officers of the Department of protection of economy of the National police, together with investigators of the investigative Department of the Main Directorate of the National police in the Zaporozhye region.
At the scene initiated searches and other investigative actions.
