A statue of a shepherd, set in the tarutinsky district of the Odessa region was in the Guinness Book of Records.
Established in 2016, the statue is recognized as the world’s highest monument to the shepherd. The corresponding message is published on the official website of the Book of records.
The initiator of the monument was made by the Deputy tarutinskiy district Council Alexander Paparian, who is also the owner of Europe’s largest sheep farm.
The height of the statue is the record-holder is of 16.43 meters. It weighs 1080 tons.
