VARTA – armored vehicles with enhanced mine protection class MRAP.
Today, December 28, another batch of armored vehicles “VARTA” with enhanced mine protection is put at the disposal of the Ministry of defense and the National guard of Ukraine.
This was announced by the Director of engineering and production enterprise “Ukrainian bronetehnika” Alexander Kuzma.
“Today we hand over another batch for national guard and Ministry of defense of Ukraine on time and in time. These cars are sent directly into the combat zone. The previous batch of cars is already more than six months operated successfully. Many cars have mileage from 15 to 30 thousand kilometers. For the cat it is a very good mileage. Each car is factory tested a minimum of 150 kilometers of roads and 500 kilometers,” – said the Director of the company.

“In our company, many employees who had served in a combat zone. Therefore, their main goal is to make a quality product for the military that protect us. Our company has strengthened the technological process, which can take the cars much earlier,” said Kuzma.
According to the Director of the enterprise “Ukrainian bronetehnika” did everything possible to ahead of time to take the first batch of cars “VARTA” for the defense Ministry six months earlier.

“If you compare these cars in quality and price with foreign producers, the quality VARTA much better. It is also due to the high demands of our military in the ATO zone. At each stage we have this car together (with the military – ed.) were developed and modernized. And now, we can say that analogues of such a vehicle. If you compare the price, the VARTA at least two times cheaper than foreign models,” said Kuzma.
Director reminded that “Ukrainian bronetehnika” together with the National guard developed a new type of armored vehicle “VARTA-Innovator”, which will be used for the units of the national guard. Last week, he successfully passed demonstration tests.
