Ukrainian military promise to pay more

The salaries of the military will increase.

From 1 January 2018 the salary of the guards and the military will grow significantly.

This was stated by the representative of State frontier service Oleg Slobodyan.

“Good news for the guards and all military personnel. From 1 January 2018, the salaries of servicemen will grow by 4.5 times,” wrote said.

So, based on the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers “On the monetary support of servicemen, persons of ordinary and commanding structure and some other persons” the salary of the military will depend on subsistence minimum.

For example, salary of the driver will increase from 530 to 2,700 USD. The salary of the inspector of a border service category 1 today is 760 and it is planned 3350 UAH, and the head of border detachment rises from 1135 to 5810 hryvnia

In addition, to increase the salaries for military rank. In particular for the title of “soldier” will pay from 30 to 560 UAH, and for “major” — not 125, and 1420 USD.

As noted by Slobodian, according to the new resolution retains the main benefits for service personnel special service military personnel in the amount of 100% of salary subject to the salary according to military rank and allowances for years of service.

Also, according to the representative of Gospogransluzhby, it is expected a significant increase in remuneration for participation in the ATO. So, provided payment of lump-sum cash assistance to servicemen: 8 to 10 living wage for able-bodied persons.
