Ukrainian lawyers want to get regular exams

The diploma will be valid for only five years.

Deputies of Ukraine intend to nullify a law degree.

Such a bill registered in the Verkhovna Rada. The authors Mustafa Nayem, Oksana Rawfoodist, Svetlana Zalishchuk, Olena Sotnyk, and other, reports Correspondent.

It is proposed that in Ukraine, lawyers are the only representatives of the four “legal” professions: those who work with judges, lawyers, prosecutors and notaries.

For certain categories of law degree will be valid for only five years. Among them:

civil servants or servants of local authorities as managers and Deputy heads of legal services;
civil servants of the Ministry of justice of Ukraine;
lawyers who work in bodies providing free legal aid;
assistant judges, assistant attorneys, assistant prosecutors, assistants and notaries;
teachers in law school.

If you have a law degree and you are engaged in legal activities, but want to be a judge, Prosecutor, lawyer or notary, you will have to pass the exam.
