Ukrainian employers will be obliged to provide work to people older than 45 years

This quota will help people to gain work experience.

In the framework of the pension reform, which recently entered into force, the Cabinet intends to require employers to employ people over the age of 45 who need to accumulate the insurance period to receive the pension in the future. This was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva.

It is assumed that in every workplace the number of employees aged 45+ shall be not less than 4% of the total. It is provided in the bill registered in the Verkhovna Rada under No. 6614.

“This quota principle, we will implement necessary and will follow through our public service labour that this rule is respected,” said Reva.
