At a military training ground near Kharkov scientists design Bureau named Morozova experienced an improved BTR-4-E.

It is reported that after the modernization the armored personnel carrier has become more safe for the crew and worse for the enemy. At the test site a brand new BTR-4-e shoots out of a cannon, machine gun and grenade launcher. The APC is able to withstand the ingress of the glass.

According to the designers, the armored vehicle protects the crew from bullets of caliber 12,7 and 7,62 mm.

At this time the car has passed all tests and is ready for transfer into the National guard. A few dozen of these armored vehicles, the army will get to the end of the year.
