Promising Ukrainian Middleweight Sergey Derevyanchenko has won 11 fights in the Pro ring.
In a battle with experienced Toriano Johnson Derevyanchenko had to confirm their championship ambitions – rival was in the top-25 weight category according to the portal “BoxRec” and the winner of the fight becoming the mandatory Challenger for the IBF title owned by star Gennady Golovkin.
At the start of the fight Johnson has tried to catch Derevyanchenko by surprise, but Sergei due to good maneuverability without problems neutralized the threat of the attacks of the opponent.
Ukrainian confidently took one round after another. Along the way, Derevyanchenko do not forget that the battle can last a maximum of 12 rounds.
Thanks to the rational approach Sergey championship rounds have kept more forces. Johnson lived openly until the final bell, but Derevyanchenko did not allow the announcement of the referee notes.
Two minutes before the end of the final round Derevyanchenko went into a prolonged attack and multiple accented beats cut Johnson. The victory brought the Ukrainian Gennady Golovkin if he’s in mid-September will beat Soulja Alvarez.
