Ukrainian CHP lacks anthracite

The Prime Minister Hroisman assures that the reduction in the procurement of anthracite will happen during the next heating season.

With the next heating season Ukraine will reduce annual consumption of anthracite coal from 9 million tons to 6 million tons. This was stated by Prime Minister Vladimir Groisman.

According to him, in March will upgrade one unit at Tripoli station, which will be transferred from anthracite coal to gas, which is produced in government-controlled areas.

“What does that mean? This means that for the year the next heating season, somewhere around 2.5-3 million tonnes we will be able to save, not to the anthracite coal group. This means only one thing: that there were 9 million tonnes of consumption, and is 6 million tons of consumption”, – said Groisman during the visit of the exhibition Agro Animal Show in Kiev, 2017.

According to him, a year later, the coal consumption can be reduced by another 2.5-3 million tons.
