Ukrainian startups PassivDom unveiled a prototype “smart” houses, printed on 3D-printer. The construction of the walls and roof is not more than a day. And the house is fully Autonomous and does not require connection to the city power grid and water supply.

The house, represented by a team of architects from PassivDom, printed on a 3D printer in a matter of hours. The walls are made of modern materials – fiberglass and carbon fiber. They do not rust and do not emit harmful substances. Part of the house are delivered to the site, and then, like LEGO, are attached to the base.

A huge advantage PassivDom is its autonomy. Manufacturers claim that housing does not require connection to the city networks, so it can be positioned absolutely on any site – not only in the city but in the woods or in the mountains. Solar panels provide the house with electricity and collection system and water filtration allows you to reuse the water stored in special tanks. Climate control maintains optimal temperature, humidity and oxygen content in the room.

The cost of a smart building depends on its size: model modulOne (36 sq. m.) is estimated at 30 000 us dollars, and the model modulDva (72 sqm) – about 60 000 dollars. The developers emphasize that the final price includes not only the construction of houses, but also furniture, appliances, decorations and even dishes.
The house is 36 square meters.
Architects from PassivDom confident in the quality product and guarantee it: “Over time, “smart” house will not rust, will not rot and will not become colder. Guarantee on the thermal properties of the materials 40 years, and furniture and equipment – 5 years.”
