Representing Ukraine will be ISAAK, who was born in Ukraine and now living in Russia

Ukraine will participate in the Russian song contest “New wave”.

To represent our country singer, which for a long time living in Russia — Artem Ivanov (ISAAK), the soloist of group “Yin-Yang”.

ISAAK is a graduate of the seventh Russian “factory of stars”, after which he gained popularity. The singer 31 years old, he was born in Cherkassy, but currently works and lives in the capital of Russia.

Earlier in the media, he voiced his position on Ukraine: “I do not know and do not want to be friends with people who is to blame for this conflict. And the one and on the other side. I am a citizen of Ukraine, living in Russia. And in Ukraine too. There feel quite comfortable.”

We will remind, “New wave” — the annual international competition of young performers. From 2002 to 2014 was carried out on the Latvian coast at Jurmala, but from 2015 moved to Sochi.
