Ukrainian officials want to increase the attractiveness of the Ukrainian state in the world.
The draft State budget for the year 2018 provides 77 million UAH to provide a positive image of Ukraine abroad, including at the Ukrainian Institute of the Ministry of foreign Affairs. This is stated in the explanatory Memorandum of the draft of the main state estimates for 2018.
According to the draft budget, under the budget program “Financial support to the international positive image of Ukraine, support for the activities of the Ukrainian Institute, measures to support ties with Ukrainians living outside Ukraine” in 2018 the General Fund provides 77 million.
The draft State budget for the year 2018 to Finance part of the Ministry of economic development and trade of the planned costs amount to 119.7 million UAH for preparation for all-Ukrainian population census to be held in 2020.
