The world Bank (WB) has decided to grant Ukraine a new loan of $ 150 million. The decision was taken on Tuesday, may 2 at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the organization.
About this informed the Agency “TASS”, citing informed sources in the Bank.
A loan is Export-import Bank of Ukraine under sovereign guarantee.
The report notes that earlier “Ukreximbank” reported that the goal of this project is to increase access to long-term financing for “export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises”.
Initially, the project was expected to approve a simplified procedure, without discussion, on March 31. However, then manual WB decided that a new loan must still be discussed at a meeting of the Board of Directors in the usual manner, which was done, the report said.
