In January, Ukrainian companies have shipped abroad 10,99 thousand tons.
In January 2017, Ukrainian enterprises exported 10,99 thousand tons of poultry meat for $13.01 million
This was reported in the State fiscal service (GFS).
According to the fiscal authorities, sales of poultry abroad fell in comparison with December 2016, but a very increased when compared with the same period last year.
As noted in the materials of customs statistics, the main importers of poultry meat from Ukraine in January 2017 was Iraq ($1,83 million), UAE ($1.71 million) and Hong Kong ($1.56 million). The exports to these countries amounted to 1.55 million tonnes, of 1.44 million tons and 1.32 million tonnes of poultry meat, respectively.
In accordance with the project data ShareUaPotential in January 2017, the volume of exports of poultry meat by 50% more than the same period of 2016, but at 30% less than December 2016.
Experts note that the negative impact on volumes of deliveries of Ukrainian poultry meat abroad in December and January has had a ban on EU imports of chicken meat from Ukraine because the point of avian flu outbreaks in some areas of the country.
