Ukraine sharply increased the export of dairy products

Most of all, Ukraine exports oil and imports cheese.

In January-April 2017 all categories of farms produced 2.8 million tons of milk, which is 0.6% less than in 4 months of 2016.

It is reported the Economic discussion club.

Exported dairy products to 167 thousand tons (1.9 times more than in January-April 2016), the imported – 36 thousand tons (by 4.8% less).

In the structure of exports the largest share is butter (65%), the main consumers of which are Morocco, Moldova, Kazakhstan.

The priority position of the import of dairy products in Ukraine are cheeses (82% in the import structure).

Traditional suppliers of cheese to the Ukrainian market are Poland, Germany and France.
