By 2035, 25% of the energy Ukraine would receive from renewable sources.
By 2035 a quarter of the country’s energy will come from renewable sources.
This was stated by the Chairman of the Saee Serhiy Savchuk at the round table energy Committee.
“The new goal of Ukraine is to reach 25% of energy from renewable sources in total primary energy supply until 2035. The rapid pace of development of renewable energy in the world, the gradual reduction of the cost of projects in this area give reason to believe that we can achieve our goal,” he said.
According to him, the new laws will make “green” energy more profitable and to pave the way for the energy market for its suppliers. To clean energy will implement a special rate tied to the Euro, as well as provide the opportunity to make long-term agreements with its supply until 2030.
