Because of the occupation of Donbas and Crimea, Ukrainian exports lost $13 billion.
Total losses of Ukrainian exports in recent years, amounted to $25.2 billion At the same time because of the occupation of Donbas and Crimea exports only lost $12.9 billion reported in the draft export strategy, published on the website of the Ministry of economic development and trade.
“The cost of export losses due to these regions together with the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea amounted to $12.9 billion, while the total export losses of Ukraine amounted to $25.2 billion”, – the document says.
According to the export strategy, the share of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk regions in total exports of Ukrainian goods dropped from 26.6% in 2013 to 10.4% in 2015.
At the same time in 2016, 30% of exports went to EU countries, and almost 15% – in Russia. Most of all, Ukraine exported agricultural products.
