Ukraine launches full production launch of the project “Alder”. The plant “Artem” received equipment for the production of ammunition casings.
This was reported to journalists by the NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov during familiarization with the production site of the holding company “Artem”.
There, in particular, made body parts for “Alder”.
“Production of Ukrainian missiles, which by its characteristics should be better than the Russian counterparts, is the work which the Council was put before the Ukrainian manufacturers. Clearly, consistently, this task is performed”, – said Turchinov.
He noted that such technologies Ukraine was not even in the days of the Soviet Union. Serial production of missiles will begin next year.
“We are planning public testing in early 2018. And after the state tests of the complex will be provided by Ukrainian armed forces”,– said Turchinov.
Complex “Alder” can hit targets at a distance up to 120 km, and Each missile carries a different warhead and is managed. Control system, fuel, and warhead are made in Ukraine.
