Now the information on the ultimate owners of Ukrainian companies in the Single state portal of open data.
Ukraine became the first country in the world that joined the Global registry of beneficial owners. About this on his page on the social network Facebook announced Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groisman.
According to him, now the information on the ultimate owners of Ukrainian companies is publicly available on the government open data portal.
“Ukraine has opened the data about beneficiaries of companies and became the first country in the world that joined the Global register of beneficial owners, an initiative of Transparency International to promote transparency and prevent corruption,” he wrote, Groisman.
He noted that the portal was launched thanks to the joint work of the State Agency for e-governance and the Ministry of justice.
