Ukraine is unlikely to receive a new tranche of the IMF – Bank JP Morgan

The largest U.S. Bank is skeptical to the possibility to get a new tranche.

American Bank JP Morgan, which is one of the largest in the world, predicts that by the end of this year, Ukraine will not be able to get a new tranche of the International monetary Fund (IMF) credit Stand-by program.

“We do not expect payments from the IMF this year due to the populist approach, the conditions of the program and the government’s decision to “liberalise” the price of gas only in the direction of reducing, at the same time introducing restrictions for their increase,” – noted analysts of the Bank in the review of the markets in developing countries.
