Ukrainian students at the world summer Universiade in Taipei has won 33 awards.
The recent successes of Ukraine at the Universiade associated with a rhythmic gymnast: Ekaterina Lutsenko won silver in the exercises with clubs, and also came in third in the program with a Hoop. The national team of Ukraine (Marina Makarova, Valeriy gudym, Daria Owl, Anastasia Podrushnyak and Alina Bahno) to gold in the all-around added bronze in the programme with three balls and two clubs.
In the medal standings of the Universiade-2017 Ukrainian students took the sixth place. Ukrainians have surpassed your score from two years ago – in 2015 the Gwangju team took 31 medals (8 gold, 17 silver and 6 bronze), but has not held up to the incredible figure of the Universiade-2013 in Kazan (12 gold, 29 silver and 36 bronze).
The undisputed winner of the games in Taipei was the team of Japan collected an impressive medal crop – 37 gold, 27 silver and 37 bronze medals.
