Ukraine involved in illegal arms shipments to South Sudan.
This is stated in the report of the human rights organization Amnesty International.
At the request of the organization in Facebook, the report cites evidence implicating Ukraine in illegal arms shipments to southern Sudan, where “it is used for killing of thousands of civilians.”
“In 2014, Ukrinmash signed a contract with the UAE for the supply of thousands of machine guns, mortars, RPGs and millions of munitions in South Sudan. Participation of Ukrainian state companies in the supply of weapons to southern Sudan contrary to the Treaty on the arms trade, epicanthi which is Ukraine,” – say in the organization.
