This was stated by President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.
Ukraine and Belarus agreed on concrete steps of cooperation in the electricity sector, the oil and gas industry.
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said during a joint press conference with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
“I confirmed Ukraine’s readiness to supply electricity to Belarus. We also agreed to consider expanding supply of energy, particularly oil, using a unique transit potential of Ukraine”, – said Poroshenko.
The President also noted that today there is a bilateral interest in the creation of new joint ventures, particularly in aerospace, transport, engineering and agriculture.
