Ukraine increased coal production

Coal production grew by 8.7%.

Coal production in Ukraine in June of 2017 in comparison to June 2016 has increased by 8.7% and amounted to 1.9 million tons.

According to the State statistics service.

The mining of coal compared to may 2017 fell by 4.1%. For the 6 months it was produced 12500000 tons of coal, which is 9.4% less than the corresponding period in 2016.

Note that coal production in Ukraine declined significantly from the beginning of hostilities in the Donbass in the spring of 2014, because that is where most of the coal mines of the country.
