“Ukrtransnafta” on may 20 resumed oil transit to the EU, however, temporarily suspended in connection with necessity of performance of additional manufacturing operations for the replacement of oil in the pipelines of the station.

“On may 20 at 00.00 JSC “Ukrtransnafta” in accordance with the agreed operators of the Friendship graph has resumed the transit of Russian oil to European consumers. Since the early days of the oil transportation company of Ukraine pumped 4 million tons of oil in the direction of the EU and stopped the bleeding in connection with necessity of performance of additional manufacturing operations for the replacement of oil in the pipelines of the station. At the same time from AO MOL received a message on technical problems on their side”, — stated in the message.
“Ukrtransnafta” will restore the pumping of raw materials on the oil pipeline “Friendship” after confirming the readiness of the Hungarian side to take oil.
The company had previously planned to resume oil transit to the EU since may 20 in the normal mode. In accordance with the planned activities, the European oil transportation company up to may 20 conducted the preparatory work for the restoration of transit associated with the use of oil with high content of chlororganics in their own tank farms.
