Ukraine has risen in the ranking of steel producers

Ukraine has climbed from 14th to 12th place in the ranking Worldsteel.

Ukraine on the results of metallurgical enterprises in July 2017 has reduced steel production by 12.9% compared to July 2016 up to 1,810 million tons, up from 14th to 12th place in the ranking of 67 countries – the basic world manufacturers of this production, compiled by the world Association of steel producers (Worldsteel).

In July recorded a growth of steel production in most of the top ten countries, except Japan and Russia.

The top ten countries producing steel by the end of July looks like this: China (74021000 tons, an increase of 10.3%), Japan (8588000 tons, falling by 4.3%), India (8362000 tons, a rise of 3, 5%), USA (7071000 tons, an increase of 5.6%), South Korea (6159000 tons, increase by 2.3%), Russia (5585000 tons, a drop of 8%), Germany (3514000 tons , an increase of 3.6%), Turkey (3345000 tons, growth of 27.8%), Brazil (2832000 tons, a rise of 1%) and Italy (2,120 million tons, an increase of 1.7%).

This is followed by Taiwan (China 1,960 million tons, an increase of 5.5%) and Ukraine (1,810 million tons, a drop of 12.9%).

Only in July 2017 67 countries have developed 143 245 000 tons of steel, which is 6.3% higher than July 2016.

In the first seven months of 2017, the top ten countries producing steel looks like this: China (491553000 tons, up by 5.1%), Japan (60913000 tons, down 0.2%), India (58017000 tons, a growth of 5.4%), USA (47748000 tons, an increase of 2.1%), Russia (40495000 tons, falling by 0.5%), South Korea (40868000 tons, an increase of 3.5), Germany (25734000 tons, growth of 1.9%), Turkey (21559000 tons, increase by 13.6%), Brazil (19555000 tons, rising 10.6%) and Italy (14471000 tons, a growth of 1 6%).

Ukraine is in 12th place (12314000 tons, a drop of 15%).
