The Ukrainian side requires the payment of 20 thousand fines in international court.
The state aviation service of Ukraine has ordered more than 20 thousand fines airlines for flights to annexed Crimea for the total amount of 2.72 billion. About it reports Interfax-Ukraine with reference to information of the Ministry of transport.
The Ministry recalled that the decree of the President of Ukraine of 16 September 2015 put into effect the NSDC decision on the application of personal sanctions to legal persons, in particular to the Russian airlines.
According to the CAA of all such offenders-airlines of the Russian Federation there are more than 40, among them, in particular, Aeroflot, Vim Avia, Gazprom Avia, red wings, Russia, ALROSA, Ural airlines, Yamal, UTair, Transaero, 224 squadron, Kogalymavia, Falcon, Aero bars, and others.
Sanctions are applied to violators in the form of a fine for each violation in the amount of 8 thousand non-taxable minimum incomes (136 thousand hryvnia).
The facts of the offenses are committed on the basis of the automated system of air traffic control Aircon 2100.
“At the same time, regarding the number of violations in the context of airlines, a consolidated account of the Ministry of transport is not conducted, therefore, to provide the specified information is not possible”, – said the Agency.
In relation to mechanism to recover the state notes that, according to the Air Code of Ukraine, if the fine is not paid within 15 days of receipt of the decision on its imposition, enforcement of debt collection exercised by the State Executive service.
As of September 15, 2017, from the amount of 2.7 billion UAH no penalty was paid.
Along with this, the Ministry of transport jointly with the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ministry of foreign Affairs have taken measures to appeal to international courts to resolve the situation of paying the said debt and to prevent violations of the airspace of Ukraine.
