Ukraine exported record volume of beef

Most of Ukrainian meat delivered to Belarus.

Ukraine in 2016 exported a record volume of beef during the last 5 years — 35 thousand t on $82.8 million

Overall in 2016, abroad it was delivered 9.4% more of cattle meat (+3 thousand tons) than last year.

Observed build-up 83.9% of the volume of deliveries abroad of fresh and chilled meat, frozen meat exports decreased by 18.2%, reported in “Ukrainian club of agrarian business”.

During the reporting period, and 54.5% of beef was exported to Belarus (99.3% of total chilled beef meat and 20% ice cream).
