Ukraine will insist that Russian “blue helmets” not in the conflict zone.
The permanent representative of Ukraine to the United Nations Volodymyr Yelchenko said in an interview 112.ua that the Ukrainian side can make its draft resolution on the peacekeepers in the Donbass, or will operate on the basis of the project of Russia, with the condition that he will readjust the position of Kiev.
“We already have everything (time of resolution), it worked out, it is in the hands of our partners. I guess we’ll see, and within one or two days, if necessary, write and publish your alternative (the project). Another option is to work on the basis of Russian project, but this does not mean that there should still remain as they wrote,” − said Yelchenko.
According to Yelchenko, the Ukrainian side in the final draft resolution on sending peacekeepers to the Donbass expects that they will be present in all areas in the conflict zone, including the border, and of crucial importance is the withdrawal of Russian troops before deployment.
In addition, Kiev insists that the peacekeepers laid more features than the security of the OSCE observers, and among them must not be Russian representatives.
