Ukrainian and Polish defense companies have jointly developed a missile system ZRN-01 “Stokrotka” ( “Daisy”). The system can serve not only to destroy surface targets, but drones, helicopters and other low speed aerial targets.
Presented missile system during the exhibition MSPO-2017 in the Polish city of Kielce.
The missile system combines air missile caliber 80 mm with a ground launcher, equipped with a modern fire control system Topaz.
Developed the company AREX, what is included in the WB Group and the Ukrainian company “Artem”, part of “Ukroboronprom”.
The weapons system is a typical 80 mm unguided rockets of the Soviet standard used, for example, helicopters Mi-24 and Mi-8/17. This solution gives the opportunity to use stocks of Soviet launchers and ammunition – after the appropriate upgrades to maintain their own units.
Thanks to the programmable head, the system can deal not only with the concentration of infantry, artillery, or light armored cars, and drones and helicopters flying at low altitude within a radius of 4 km.
System was installed on the truck STAR 265M2 6 × 6. However, the launcher and the fire control system can be easily installed on other platforms, including armoured vehicles.
