Ukraine and Poland agreed to lift the moratorium on execution of search and exhumation work and their recovery.
This decision was made on 17 November in Krakow during the talks, Deputy head of the presidential Administration Konstantin Yeliseyev with the head of the office of the President of Poland Krzysztof Dersim, the press service of the head of state.
By results of negotiations the parties agreed to hold an intergovernmental meeting to the lifting of moratorium on carrying out of search and exhumation work and sharing their recovery.
Elisha and Mersky also came to the agreement on the extension of the bilateral intergovernmental Commission for the protection and return of cultural property. The parties agreed to jointly address issues of mutual interest.
In addition, representatives of Ukraine and Poland discussed the upcoming visit of the Polish President Andrzej Duda in Kharkov in December 2017.
