At the end of last week on consideration in the state Duma was introduced a bill, this time involving a taxi aggregators. It was proposed by Vyacheslav Lysakov from you-know-what party, the first Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee on state construction, and the document has already supported the startup Uber.
Recall that Uber is the world’s largest startup, engaged in passenger transport, and more recently he began to capture the Russian market of such services. The new law will allow to regulate firms engaged in carting, because at the moment in this area is lawless and domestic companies struggle to compete with foreign not always honest ways, and they reciprocate.
According to representatives of Uber, the company fully supports the introduction of the new bill in effect, because it will allow you to adjust not only the activities of shipping companies, but also a means of competition, so they do not impact on the passengers themselves. We also learned that Uber is ready to open its own division in Russia — the corresponding item is in the proposed bill, and if it is approved, Uber simply does not remain other choice. Currently the Russian office of a start-up, we can say, no.
