The Secretary added that he is aware of the sacrifice that brings each of the employees of the diplomatic mission
U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson said that Russia in the early 90’s was not the best place to go with family. He said this, speaking to employees of the U.S. Embassy in London.
“I spent some time in my past life, moving from one country to another. I didn’t have protection, meanwhile, the Yemen wasn’t the best place to take my family, as Moscow was not the best place to take my family there in the early 90s,” he said.
Tillerson added that he realizes the sacrifice that brings each of the employees of the Embassy.
As you know, the U.S. state Department announced the closure of the Consulate General of Russia in San Francisco, as well as two diplomatic facilities in Washington and new York.
The state Department explained that the move was made in response to the Kremlin’s demand to reduce American diplomatic personnel in Russia.
