Previous Tyson’s contract with Shakhtar expires in December 2017. All went to the fact that the champion of Ukraine next summer will have to let go of their key players – active interest in the 29-year-old midfielder showed “Lazio”, “Fenerbahce” and “Besiktas”.
Director General “Shakhtar” Sergei Palkin on his page in “Facebook” reports that Tyson has signed with Shakhtar, a new 4-year contract. Personal details of the agreement, the Brazilian Shakhtar were not disclosed.
Tyson stands at Shakhtar since January 2013. Brazilian midfielder “miners” got paid “Metalist” about $ 15 million. Since then, Tyson all tournaments played 165 matches in which he scored 29 goals and recorded 44 assists.
Together with “Shakhtar” Tyson twice reached the knockout stages of the Champions League, played in the semifinals of the Europa League, and three times took the championship and the Ukrainian Cup.
Last fall, Tyson made his debut in the national team of Brazil. Midfielder “Shakhtar” has again been called up to the national team and can take part in the matches against Argentina and Australia.
