Two earthquakes with magnitudes of 5.2 and 6.1 occurred almost simultaneously near the Eastern coast of the Japanese island of Honshu, according to the USGS.
The hearth of the first earthquake was located at a depth of 35 km 70 km North-East from the village Namie in Fukushima Prefecture.
The second earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km and 281 km to the North-East of the city of Kamaishi in Iwate Prefecture.
