On suspicion of having links with ISIS in Turkey have arrested 800 people.
Turkish police have arrested 820 people in an operation against members of the terrorist organization “Islamic state”, which was launched on 30 January 2017.
According to the newspaper, the majority of detentions took place on 5 February – 748. Police also seized digital materials, two pistols, four rifles and 372 of the cartridge.
In all, over the past week in police raids against members of the Islamic state, the PKK and the Gulen movement, arrested more than 1,800 people.
