Turkey threatens tough measures the Netherlands

The Turkish Prime Minister called the events in Rotterdam “biggest diplomatic scandal.”

The Prime Minister of Turkey has promised tough measures in the Netherlands in response to the ban the Dutch authorities to enter the Turkish Minister.

The Netherlands sent the Turkish Minister for family Affairs and social policy, who wanted to meet fellow citizens in Rotterdam. Before that the Turkish foreign Minister was denied entry because of what the country’s President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called the authorities of the Netherlands by the Nazis.

“We strongly protest against actions of the authorities of the Netherlands. The response of Ankara will be extremely hard. Pressure on Turkey and the Minister with diplomatic immunity are unacceptable,” – said the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim.
According to him, the Turkish Minister was in Europe with the aim of informing Turkish citizens in the Netherlands on the constitutional amendments submitted to referendum on April 16 in Turkey.

“Fatma Betul Saiyan Kaya met with the Turks in Germany, where went to the Netherlands to meet with representatives of local Turkish community. However, the path to her was blocked by the police,” – said the Prime Minister, calling the events in Rotterdam “biggest diplomatic scandal.”

Note that the night the Dutch police dispersed the Turks who protested the ban on entry to the Minister.
