Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan approved the deployment of Turkish troops based in Qatar.
On the eve of Erdogan ratified the agreement, allowing to place the Turkish troops in Qatar and to start the cooperation on training of the gendarmerie of that country.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Qatar Mohammed bin Abdurrahman al-Thani had earlier said that the country will be placed Turkish troops.

Chad withdrew its Ambassador from Qatar for consultations and expressed “active solidarity” with Saudi Arabia. Gabon has limited itself to condemning the actions of the official of Doha.
