Turchinov told about the plans of Russia to start a major war

Ukrainian politician was able to find out some details of the plans of neighbouring countries.

Russian exercises “West-2017,” shows their ability to conduct large-scale war in Europe.

This was stated by the NSDC Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov, the press service of the Council.

“Of course, the Russian Federation these teachings (“West-2017″) demonstrates the ability to conduct large-scale continental war in Europe, and that, in their opinion, may be a warning to the West that he did not interfere in the new venture, which the Kremlin could provoke on the territory of Ukraine and other independent countries in the region” – said Turchinov.

The NSDC Secretary also did not rule out that Russia after completion of the exercise can leave some armaments and troops on the territory of Belarus.

In addition, Turchynov said that for the “West-2017” involved more than seven thousand railway platforms for transporting troops.
