The white house offered the post of U.S. Ambassador to Russia, former Governor of Utah John Huntsman.
According to the newspaper, the question is “in the stage of signing documents.” As noted, a formal proposal followed the Huntsman “earlier this week”, although he did not respond to a request for comment on this information.
The huntsman worked as the U.S. Ambassador to Singapore under President George H. W. Bush, as well as in China under Barack Obama.
In early March, the U.S. media have reported that huntsman is the candidate for the post of the head of the us diplomatic mission in Moscow. But the White house did not confirmed this information.
