The US President Donald trump called President of Russia Vladimir Putin to Express condolences for the terrorist attack in St. Petersburg. About this informed the press-Secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
According to him, the two heads of state expressed their common view that terrorism must be fought jointly.
“In a telephone conversation with Vladimir Putin, Donald trump expressed his deep condolences to the families of the victims of the barbaric act of terrorism perpetrated in the St. Petersburg underground, and asked to convey words of support to the Russian people”, – said Peskov.
Putin thanked his American counterpart for this expression of solidarity.
“The presidents noted that terrorism is an evil that must be fought jointly,” – said Peskov.
The representative of the Kremlin noted that Putin and trump agreed to continue contacts.
