The mayor of the American city of Charlottesville Mike Signer accused the President of the United States Donald trump in the growth of radical sentiments in the country, which led to clashes between supporters and opponents of right-wing organizations in the city.
“Look at the campaign, which he spent, look at intentional flirting with supporters of the white supremacist, white nationalist, anti-Semitic groups. On the other hand, look at the number of unsuccessful attempts to speak out, to condemn, to criticize, to make (them – ed.) to be Silent, ” said M. Signer.
He also added that he did not see the leading role of the White house in statements of administration in connection with the events that occurred during protests in Charlottesville.
The President of the United States Donald trump expressed his condolences in connection with death of two police officers during a helicopter crash near the city of Charlottesville, Virginia. Also sympathy to the US President expressed to the family of a woman killed during protests in the same state.
