The cost of a single trip in the Kiev minibuses can grow up to 8-9 USD.
It concerns not only urban bus, but also those that run from the capital to the suburbs, their price will be from 12 to 20 UAH, depending on their distance. This was told by one of the members of the Association of Metropolitan carriers.
It is reported that travel on Metropolitan buses from the current 5-6 hryvnia will rise to 8 and 9 hryvnia for one trip. To the suburbs to get will become even more expensive – instead of the current 12 to 16 UAH for a single journey passengers will have to pay around 20 USD. We will remind that this summer in July, the number of Metropolitan taxi raised the price of admission for one hryvnia. Also from the middle of July-time travel in public transport of Kyiv has grown from three to four hryvnia, and the subway ride was five hryvnia.
This necessary measure is directly related to the increase in fuel prices, reported that the fall of the price of the brand of gasoline A-95 increased by more than 10 percent, so on average, a liter of gasoline petrol stations in the capital is around 28 USD. Diesel fuel also rose in price by almost 15 percent, on average, a liter costs about 26 USD.
It is noted that an autumn jump of the prices for automobile fuel is recognized as a record for the year. As is known, according to the last month in Ukraine rise in price of diesel fuel and gasoline in retail trade amounted to about five percent. Experts predict that this trend will continue until the end of the year. The specialists underline that the rise in price the less interested operators of the fuel market.
Among the main reasons for the rise in price of gasoline and diesel fuel in Ukraine called the increase in oil prices, the fall of the hryvnia, the shutdown of some Ukrainian oil refineries and the blockade of one of the terminals, which are shipped imported fuel.
