Hard Spanish remake of the French horror film “revenge of the unborn”, called “Inside” (as, incidentally, the first picture in the original), has survived premiere at the film festival in Sitges and… disappeared from the radar news sites. Until the recent festival in Cannes, which sold for international rental. There appeared the trailer for the film.
Well, the new version obviously was much softer than the original – that just can’t go like this genre of history to benefit. Due to the strong suspense and looseness of the creators in terms of really intense scenes, “the Revenge of the unborn” at the time, became one of the brightest examples of the new French wave of horror. You can also describe another picture of this trend, the Thriller “Martyr”, at times more “light” of the American version of which was ridiculed by critics expected and immediately forgotten. Does such a fate and “Inside”? The situation is capable of remedy, bright actors in the foreground – there is, at least, charming Laura Harring (“Mulholland Drive”) as the unnamed villain. Although to beat Beatrice Dahl in this role, Herring still have a very, very hard. We obtain it or not – we learn not earlier, than in summer, because the American premiere is scheduled for August 18.
