In Ukraine, rising sales of new cars.
For the first four months of 2017 in the Ukrainian market was sold for 23.4 thousand new cars.
According to the Association Ukrautoprom, the figure is 30% higher than the sales results of January-April last year (almost 18 thousand cars).
The leader of sales of cars of the French brand Renault – 2 614 cars. Followed by Japanese Toyota – 2 519 machines. Third place in the ranking went to Germany’s Volkswagen – 1 770 cars. And the fourth and fifth place went to the Koreans KIA and Hyundai 1 668 1 347 vehicles, respectively.
Market participants noted that a 30 percent increase in sales to explain in the first place, due to the low comparison base of the previous years. Because the market is in the 60-70 thousand new cars for a country like Ukraine is very little (given the age of the Park).
We will remind, in 2016 on the Ukrainian market sold about 65 thousand new cars. This figure is 40% higher than sales results 2015.
Director of NIKO Auto Holding, Yaroslav Vovk noted that for the group of NICO growth is to be expected. “We planned their activities on the basis of growth 30% by 2016. Remain true to the forecast and expected such dynamics for the year,” he says. According to him, this will contribute to the relative political and macroeconomic stability in the country.
Wolf also predicts that this year, as in the past, the Ukrainians will be more likely to buy cars in the price segment from 15 to 22 thousand euros.
