Together with cold weather to come Donbass escalation, OSCE

The escalation of the conflict will increase in connection with the cold weather, said the Deputy head of the OSCE mission in Ukraine.

The organization for security and cooperation in Europe warned of the escalation of the armed conflict in the East of Ukraine in connection with the beginning of cold weather. About it in interview to the newspaper of the German Funke media group published on Friday, November 24, reported the first Deputy head of the OSCE mission in Ukraine Alexander hug.

According to him, in recent weeks, and already there has been a “constant increase” in the number of violations of the cease-fire.

“When the ground freezes, unfortunately, becomes even easier to move heavy weapons”, –he noted.

It is also reported that from the beginning of 2017 in the conflict zone were killed 68 civilians, more than 320 were injured.
