Tihipko plans to buy VS Bank

The Bank indirectly belongs to Sberbank of Russia.

The owner of Universal Bank and TA – businessman Sergey Tigipko intends to purchase VS Bank (Lviv), which indirectly belongs to Sberbank of Russia.

About this to Ukrainian news reported the press service of the Antimonopoly Committee.

23 Aug Tigipko submitted the application to the AMCU to grant him permission to indirect acquisition of shares in the share capital VS Bank. Currently his application is pending.

The National Bank (NBU) has confirmed that on August 28 from a citizen of Ukraine documents were submitted to indirect purchase of 99.9% of shares VS Bank.

“Now all the documents for approval of acquisition of significant participation in the Vies Bank (VS the Bank) registered and pending. Upon review the public will be informed in addition”, – reported in the NBU.

Under the law, the national Bank examines the documents within 3 months from the date of receipt.
